Centre for Telematics and Information Technology

CTIT is one of the primary ICT research institutes in Europe with over 475 researchers. For more than fifteen years, CTIT has been able to play a leading role exploring communication technologies, multimedia design and embedded systems, and applying novel ICT solutions in a diversity of domains including manufacturing and logistics, healthcare and well-being, and media and services. CTIT has contributed significantly to the disclosure of new ICT research fields such as security, sensor systems, and interaction technologies. Many of the new insights have led to tangible societal and business results, and the newly developed technologies formed the basis for more than 50 startup businesses.
