Seven new graduate research programmes in the Twente Graduate School
08 February 2010
In September 2009 the Twente Graduate School started with six graduate research programmes that consist of a coherent and integrated master's and doctorate course that runs over a period of, at most, six years. Such a graduate research programme educates students to be researchers in fields of expertise for which high quality research is carried out at the UT.
The Dean has admitted seven new programmes as of 1 February
2010. Before being incorporated in the Twente Graduate School, the programmes have been
assessed on compliance with the quality requirements. This prove of
quality is carried out by the Programme Committee, formed by the
Scientific Directors of the UT Research Institutes. The seven new
graduate research programmes and their programme leaders are:
| Governance of Knowledge and Innovation |
Stefan Kuhlmann |
| Human-centered Interaction Technologies |
Anton Nijholt |
| Industrial Engineering |
Richard Boucherie |
| Learning in Educational and Training Settings |
Jaap Scheerens |
| Next Generation Energy |
Guido Mul |
| Services Science |
Roel Wieringa |
| Wireless and Sensor Systems |
